The action comes thick and fast on Wednesday and Racing Post tipster Graeme Rodway returns with two fancies.
Here We Have It @ 9/4
1pt win
Rainbow Dreamer @ 9/2
1pt win
The 2m handicap chase (2.05) at Southwell is an interesting little race and 7lb claimer Lewis Dobb is quickly making a name for himself.
He looks capable of recording back-to-back wins on Here We Have It, who showed toughness when scoring for the conditional last time out.
The week ahead: Super Saturday at Newbury tops the bill
Dobb produced a stellar effort that day to bring Here We Have It through on the run-in and win going away, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. He made hard work of it, but was ultimately well on top at the finish and a 4lb rise in the weights looks far from harsh.
Treshnish, who finished second that day and reopposes, is also on 4lb better terms. But Here We Have It looks open to plenty of further improvement with Dobb’s 7lb claim invaluable.
The 2m Fast-Track & London Stayers’ Qualifier (8.00) is the feature race at Kempton and the classy 10-year-old Rainbow Dreamer might be capable of turning back the clock to win this.
He loves this track and finished second in the final of the London Stayers’ Series over course and distance in December. That took his form figures here to 1111712 and the return might help him reverse last-time-out form with Berkshire Rocco.
Rainbow Dreamer was beaten a length-and-a-quarter that day, but conceded the first run and stayed on all the way to the line. He might have finished closer with a better pace set up and looks more than capable of going one better with Rossa Ryan returning to take the ride again.
