Aidan O'Brien Royal Ascot day four accumulator

Aidan O'Brien is on course to be crowned top trainer at Royal Ascot for the eighth time in 10 years and the Irishman has plenty of chances to hit the target on day four.

The Ballydoyle supremo will be saddling the likes of Albany Stakes favourite Fairy Godmother and Coronation Stakes contender Opera Singer on the penultimate day of the meeting.

The below four-fold accumulator at Royal Ascot pays at odds of 536/1 at current prices.

Aidan O'Brien Royal Ascot day four accumulator

14:30 Albany Stakes - Fairy Godmother @ 13/8
15:45 Coronation Stakes - Opera Singer @ 13/8
17:05 Sandringham Stakes - Everlasting @ 12/1
17:40 King Edward VII Stakes - Agenda @ 5/1

Albany Stakes - Fairy Godmother

The Ballydoyle supremo will aim to watch over punters in Friday's opener with Fairy Godmother.

The Night Of Thunder filly was turned over on debut at Naas (6f, yielding) by Sparkling Sea in an April maiden, but she had her revenge over the same C&D in May when winning the Group 3 Coolmore Stud Irish EBF Fillies Sprint Stakes narrowly from Ger Lyons' filly.

On paper that effort sets the standard coming into this contest and there is no doubt that having twice encountered the stiff uphill finish at the Co Kildare venue can only act as an excellent prep for Ascot.

O'Brien and Ryan Moore scored in this race in 2022 with Meditate and will aim to repeat the dose here.

Coronation Stakes - Opera Singer

The Group 1 Coronation Stakes often brings together Guineas winners from France, England and Ireland and two of three are here in the shape of Elmalka (Newmarket) and Rouhiya (Longchamp).

O'Brien saddles Content, eighth in the Longchamp race, and Opera Singer - third at the Curragh - in his quest for a fourth Coronation Stakes win and his first since Winter in 2017.

Justify filly Opera Singer ended last season in scintillating style, winning the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp by five lengths.

She was only third as Fallen Angel won the Irish 1000 Guineas last month on comeback, but a wide trip may not have helped.

O'Brien has shown to stunning effect with City Of Troy this season how an initial top-level 3YO disappointment is no barrier to success in the future and Moore stays on board here.

Sandringham Stakes - Everlasting

A typically fierce renewal of the Sandringham, a Fillies' Handicap over Ascot's straight mile.

O'Brien and Moore team up again with Everlasting, a last-time-out Listed winner at Navan (1m, good).

She has generally been showing up well in four starts this season, with her below-par effort in the Irish 1000 Guineas last month the only low point.

At Naas, she had a half-length to spare over Asian Daze, the pair clear, and this stiffer test promises to suit, even though Johnny Murtagh's re-opposing filly is 5lb better off now.

This Kingman filly sports a first-time visor and is capable of making a splash in this first foray into handicapping company.

King Edward VII Stakes - Agenda

O'Brien runs four in the King Edward VII, with Moore on Diego Velazquez, Wayne Lordan on Chief Little Rock and Declan McDonogh partnering The Euphrates.

They are overlooked in favour of Chester Vase runner-up Agenda, as the Galileo colt could be capable of giving Dylan McMonagle his first Royal Ascot winner (as per time of writing).

Agenda won a Dundalk maiden over 1m2½f in March on second start/seasonal bow, doing so in fine style. He went to Chester and stepped up in class/trip as he finished second to Hidden Law, the ultra-impressive but, sadly, ill-fated Godolphin-owned winner.

That was a very good effort from the front on the Roodee and there could be another decent amount of progress coming here from this lightly-raced colt.
