1. Netherlands

Hailed as one of the most successful sports teams in history, the female contingent of the Netherlands national team are a dominant force, and have been for the best part of the last four decades. 2. Argentina

The only South American team within the top 10 of the female rankings, the Argentines find themselves in their highest ever position. With six medals in their last nine appearances at the Olympic Games, they are still on their quest for gold. Argentina's main success is from the Pan American games which they have won on 10 occasions.

3. Belgium

The Red Panthers are working their way up the ranks in Women's hockey. They're currently in their highest ever position in the world rankings, as their performances in competitions such as the European Championships are improving. Recently they've picked up three medals out of a possible five.

Similar as the win market, you can bet on either team to be victorious, but in this market the draw is also available as a selection.

Handicap

Refers to a team either starting with an advantage or a deficit of points, depending on the value specified on the market.

If a team has an offered handicap of -2.5 it means they essentially begin the match on -2.5 points and will need to win by more than 3 clear points to win your bet.

A selection of +2.5 would represent the opposite, a team will start the match with a +2.5 advantage on the scoring and must avoid losing by at least 3 points to win your bet.
