David Loughnane is eagerly anticipating Hello You's seasonal reappearance at Newmarket in the Nell Gwyn Stakes on Tuesday as he steps up preparations for the Qipco 1,000 Guineas at the track at the start of next month.
Hello You will be partnered by regular rider Rossa Ryan, who has made a flying start to the turf season with the help of Amo Racing, and is 25/1 for Classic glory on May 1st but 9/4 to strike in her prep run over a furlong shorter.
Having already demonstrated a liking to Newmarket's Rowley Mile when beating the reopposing Cachet in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes on her final domestic start as a two-year-old, Hello You was far from disgraced when finishing fifth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf last time out, on what was a first venture into Group 1 and international company.

Loughnane indicated that Hello You may need the run after 158 days off the track, although that will be the case for all seven of her rivals here. The going description of 'good' could perhaps be more of a concern given that her two lowest-placed finishes in Britain have come on ground officially described as 'good' in the Lowther and Prestige Stakes respectively.
Loughnane said: "All roads lead to the Guineas. This is a stepping-stone for that and to help blow the cobwebs away and just see how she has progressed from two to three.
"She's not 100 per cent fit yet but we're going there with the view that we'll get that first run into her. She could be good enough if she's ready."
