Hearts are 28/1 to finish bottom of the Scottish Premiership this season, with manager Steven Naismith relieved of his duties following their 2-1 defeat at St Mirren.
(Odds will display when the market is available)
The loss at St Mirren was Hearts' eighth successive defeat in all competitions and it resulted in CEO Andrew McKinlay making the decision to bring Naismith's reign to an end.
The former Scottish international led the club to third place and European football last season but their form has declined dramatically this season, with the club bottom of the league with just one point from their first six league games.
Hearts were also knocked out of the Scottish League Cup by Championship side Falkirk and then dropped into the UEFA Conference League after losing to Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Europa League play-offs.
The news comes just a month on from Naismith and his backroom team agreeing new contracts to the summer of 2026.
As many as seven teams are ahead of Hearts in the betting to finish bottom of the Scottish Premiership, but supporters will be hoping that the new manager can provide an immediate lift to avoid the club being embroiled in an unlikely relegation battle.
