With the gap in quality between the Azzurri and their European foes, it is no surprise that they have struggled to compete amongst the other teams in the Six Nations.

Have Italy ever won the Six Nations before?

No, Italy have never won the Six Nations.

They initially joined the newly-expanded competition in 2000, with their fourth placed finishes in 2007 and 2013 their highest since their introduction.

Their 11 points achieved via two wins and a draw in 2024, was the best performance by the Italians in Six Nations history.
