Has a player ever produced multiple 147s in one match?

The fabled 147 maximum break is the pinnacle of snooker perfection, and is widely considered to be the most difficult accomplishment to complete in sport.

Steve Davis is credited with the first maximum in registered competition and also the first to be televised, but the big question is has any player ever notched more than one in a single match?

We take a look...

Has there ever been two 147 breaks scored in a single match?

Unbelievable yes, and it wasn't produced by a so called household name!

Remarkably, Jackson Page became the first player in history to achieve the feat when he registered two maximum breaks against Allan Taylor in April 2025.

The Welshman made history in round three of World Snooker Championship Qualifying, landing snooker perfection in frames eight and 12, netting a £147,000 bonus for his exploits.

Who has produced the most 147s in snooker?

Ronnie O'Sullivan has made the most maximums with a staggering 15.

List of players with the most 147s

  1. Ronnie O'Sullivan (15)
  2. John Higgins (13)
  3. Stephen Hendry (11)
  4. Shaun Murphy (10
  5. Stuart Bingham (9)
