Harry Kane scored the 450th goal of his career as England secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Andorra.

The England captain bringing up another landmark was the only real highlight of a fairly underwhelming display from Thomas Tuchel's side as they struggled to break down a stubborn Andorra side.

Following the news Ollie Watkins had withdrawn from the England camp on Friday evening, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka and Conor Gallagher were also missing from the matchday squad for this game but could feature in Tuesday's friendly against Senegal.

The main talking point from the confirmed starting XI was midfielder Jordan Henderson making his first start since November 2023.

In truth, none of England's players will have hugely impressed the onlooking Tuchel but the result means they sit top of the group and take another step towards qualifying for the World Cup next summer.
