Harlem Eubank makes his long-awaited in-ring return on Friday night against Nurali Erdogan, and our resident boxing expert Rob Tebbutt sinks his teeth into the fight, revealing where he feels the betting value lies.
Harlem Eubank faces Nurali Erdogan on Friday night as he steps up to welterweight in search of big fights in 2025.
Eubank, unbeaten in 19 professional contests with a record of 19-0 (8 KOs), had been rumoured to face domestic rival Dalton Smith earlier in the year, but instead moves up in weight to face France’s Erdogan in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The bout is Eubank’s first in 12 months, having not been seen in action since his November 2023 stoppage win over Timo Schwarzkopf in Brighton, and he is an overwhelming favourite to get the job done.
Though Erdogan has never been stopped in his three losses, he’s also never been anywhere near this level and, though the inactivity of Eubank is a concern, I feel there is plenty of value in Harlem Eubank to win by KO/TKO at 8/5.
He’s a sharp counter-puncher and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him carry a bit of extra pop now he’s not killing himself to make 140lbs.
