Greyhound racing betting tips: Towcester tips and selections from Dave Clark

Here are the latest tips from Racing Post expert Dave Clark with three selections from Sunday's action at Towcester.

Dave Clark's Tips:

15:58 Towcester (Sunday) - Crafty Shivoo @ 11/10
16:38 Towcester (Sunday) - Broadway Murty @
4/7
18:09 Towcester (Sunday) - Doohoma Princess @

The bet365 Empress Stakes champion makes her return to Towcester this weekend and the Mark Wallis-trained superstar is fancied to bounce out the boxes and make all the running.

Connections decided to bring her back with a tilt at the Golden Sprint at Romford over 400m but that trip is inadequate and the 500m at Towcester suits perfect.

Her rapid 28.20sec trial at Monmore suggests she is ready to rumble and a slick exit can see her land a knockout blow on her rivals.

She'll need a bright start with classy and versatile Aayamza Sydney in opposition, but once in command she won’t be for catching.

As she showed in the Empress Stakes final last year, this top-class tracker sees out the 500m trip strongly and she is one of the best bets of the weekend.

16:38 Towcester (Sunday) - Broadway Murty @ 4/7

The Sunday meeting at Towcester sees a couple of track champions return to Northamptonshire and another is Sean White's bet365 Northamptonshire Sprint champion, who is back in action and expected to land a five-timer over course and distance.

The lightly-raced sprint king switches to the inside, which would be a negative, but that may help his price. He has ferocious early pace and will have the inside line going into the first bend.

The main danger will be impressive winner last week Bombay Joker, who is on the comeback trail and will eventually return to racing over four bends rather than two.

The John Mullins-trained tracker can follow Broadway Murty home on the inside from trap two and is a strong forecast play.

Dave Clark's Tip:

Broadway Murty @ 4/7

18:09 Towcester (Sunday) - Doohoma Princess @ 4/9

This well-regarded lady has been expensive for punters to follow in recent weeks, but they should keep the faith this weekend.

A brighter start and Seamus Gaughan's talented bitch can boss matters on the inside and pile on the pressure for rivals in the 712m maiden stayers contest.

None of the these have won an open over six bends and she did finish behind Manx Koa last week, but a better bright and bagging the early lead will suffice here.

British-bred local Fabulous Aurora arrives in good form having won over four bends twice, she sees out the trip well and is a must-bet for forecast and tricast punters.

Dave Clark's Tip:

Doohoma Princess @ 4/9
