She rightly now heads the ante-post market, but the second favourite is also in the contest and is the danger - Olympic champion Proper Heiress.

He is blessed with pace, but is also a very tight railer and is stranded out in trap six - only his very best from the boxes will do to compete with the classy and versatile jolly in the blue jacket.

Early pace is usually the order of the day at Monmore, with the 480m at the Wolverhampton venue seen as 'speed trip' and a place where the leader likely wins.

However, in the third Winter Derby semi-final it is impossible to overlook the red-hot Droopys Pivotel, who is chasing a four-timer over course and distance.

Maxine Locke's Derby semi-finalist flew home to score in the opening round last week and is a huge player for outright honours in the £10,000 event.
