Crayford Greyhound Tips for Sunday

The latest greyhound betting tips for Sunday's top quality card at Crayford from Racing Post tipster Dave Clark.

Staying stars of greyhound return to Crayford for the second big competition over eight bends - £10,000 Kent St Leger - run over the same 714m trip as the Golden Jacket.

Last weekend 24 became 12 after four first-round heats, on Sunday evening two semi-finals will decide who goes through to next week's big-money decider.

Ricky Holloway's Golden Jacket champion returned to the track last weekend after an eight-week absence in brilliant fashion with a powerful display.

Riding a hefty early bump, the staying superstar knuckled down to the task really well and flew on the second circuit to reel in long-term leader Baywatch Bullet.

Certain to come on a bundle for that outing, he has a great draw to work from as the sole wide seed and speedy kennelmate Razldazl Amanda likely to steer inside and cause crowding as the first bend approaches.

2023 Grand Prix champion Coonough Crow was quickest in last week's heats and is a big danger from trap one, while TV Trophy runner-up Ballymac Taylor will be flying on the second circuit, but Dazl Rolex will prove hard to beat.

19:56 Crayford – Baywatch Bullet - 5/4

Belinda Green won the Kent Leger last year with her Low Pressure and the Hove handler looks set to be represented in next week's big final with this speedy lady.

All-action early on, expect another bold bid from the front, similar to last week's effort but this time she can last home.

Dazl Rolex reeled her in late, but there is nothing of that calibre lining up in opposition, in fact, despite this being the semi-final the race represents a drop in class.

Nathan Hunt is a trainer in red-hot form and his Droopys Flotilla impressed in a trial stake two weeks ago, she is stranded out in trap five but if bringing her trapping boots to the Kent circuit on Sunday night may get across and is the danger.

Baywatch Bullet will need to lead to win, but blessed with the inside racing line at the opening turn will ensure she can fly into the bend and keep rivals at bay in the early stages.

20:32 Crayford – Franco Jessica - 1/1

As well as semi-finals of the Kent St Leger, Crayford also host first-round heats of the Kent Vase over 540m - a sharp six-bend trip where a potent blend of speed and stamina is required.

Dave Puddy's Central Park raider arrives in heat two in red-hot form and is another fancy drawn perfectly tucked away on the inside in trap one with the advantage of the inside racing line at the opening turn.

Chasing a third win in four starts over course and distance, a slick exit can quickly see her in command and she is a strong fancy to make all of the running.
