Saturday's Central Park Greyhound Betting Tips and Odds

19:27 Central Park - Bluejig Baron @ 8/11
20:01 Central Park - Droopys Flotilla @
11/4
21:28 Central Park - Southfield Daisy @
5/4

19:27 Central Park - Bluejig Baron @ 8/11

A wonderful supporting card on Saturday features alongside the Cesarewitch semi-finals which includes heats of a standard competition over 491m.

In the opening heat Dave Lee's talented tracker is drawn a little wider than ideal and was last sighted in December when knocked over, but his sensational 15.96sec sprint trial suggests all is well and he cannot be overlooked with his superb record over course and distance.

Maxine Locke's Ballymac Axel is a big danger, but he too is drawn a little wider than ideal and, with Romeo Kingpin expected to step away from the inside in the early stages, out wide and out of trouble is definitely the play here.

Bluejig Baron would prefer a draw down the middle, but he has the speed to cut loose out wide from trap six and can slip the field before piling on the pressure down the fire side with his huge middle speed.

20:01 Central Park - Droopys Flotilla @ 11/4

The first of the three Cesarewitch semi-finals is a red-hot contest over 731m, but punters are offered up superb value in the form of Nathan Hunt's prolific and in-form Droopys Flotilla.

She has a fast start in her locker, and lowered the track record at Nottingham before narrowly missing out on a first big prize down at Hove last month when nailed on the line by Garfiney Blaze in the George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial final.

Her fast start is what gives her the edge here over very talented opposition, which includes heat winner Fabulous Heka - who will step inside from trap three - and track record breaker Droopys Flare, who faces a tough draw stranded out in trap five.

Both rivals are dangers, but at the prices Droopys Flotilla looks likely to lead and she will prove a tough nut to crack once bowling along out in front.

21:28 Central Park - Southfield Daisy @ 5/4

Kevin Hutton's speedy lady is the best bet on the card on Saturday night and is fancied to make all in the third and final heat of the bitches competition over 491m.

She went to the bend with kennelmate Jet Stream Angel at Oxford last time out, who ranks as one of the very best bitches in training. Despite her lack of a previous look around Central Park, that pace and her class can take her to the front at the opening turn.

Local hope Good Rainbow is the danger, but this well-bred bitch can flash out of the boxes and put her rivals to the sword from a very early stage.
