Great Voltigeur Stakes Odds: Los Angeles leads field of six at York

Los Angeles is the favourite to win the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes on the opening day of York's Ebor Festival this week.

After finishing third behind stablemate City of Troy in the Derby, Ryan Moore guided Los Angeles to victory in the Irish equivalent at the Curragh last time out.

His main challenge could come from the Harry Charlton-trained King's Gambit, who will have champion jockey William Buick on board, and finished a narrow second to Alflaila in last month's York Stakes.

Deira Mile will make his return following a break after a fourth-placed finish in the Derby, while William Haggas will be hoping for more from Space Legend after not kicking on from a maiden win at Leicester back in April.

Queen's Vase winner Illinois gives Aidan O'Brien another strong chance in the race alongside Los Angeles, with outsider Euphoric completing the Ballydoyle trio.
