By no means is this an easy matchup for Van Gerwen who, despite playing good darts recently, is not at his very best.

Joyce, who has impressed when playing on TV, will be out to make a point against the three time Grand Slam of Darts champion Van Gerwen.

For that reason, I can see this one going the distance, which is why I'm backing over 8.5 legs in the match at 11/4.

While I expect Van Gerwen to edge this one in a 5-4 win, for Joyce to push the Dutchman he will have to be on top form.

I predict this will be the case and see 4/1 as a great price for there to be over 5.5 180s in the match.
