2024 winner I Am Maximus heads the list of entries for the 2025 Grand National, which will take place at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday 5th April.
The Grand National picture is becoming clearer, with a further six entries scratched on Monday 31st March.
Of the six absentees, L'Homme Presse, Capodanno, Velvit Elvis and Minella Drama had all been guaranteed a run in the Aintree showpiece.
This gives some runners, who were previously below the cut-line, an opportunity to compete in Saturday's race.
Monbeg Gebius, Vanillier, Horantzau D'Airy, Hyland and Celebre D'Allen are now all guaranteed a spot in the 34, should they be declared on Thursday.
The fate of Duffle Coat, Shakem Up'Arry and Roi Mage is still uncertain, however, with all three due to carry 10st4lb after they were awarded the same handicap mark when the weights were announced in February.
If they all stand their ground at the 48-hour stage, the final spot will be determined by which of these three has the highest current handicap mark at the time of elimination.
Fontaine Collonges and Quick Wave have also been scratched from the race but they were already unlikely to get a run, both falling below the 34-horse cut line.
With all the market principles standing their ground it is set to be a wide open renewal with Intense Raffles the current favourite.
