Trainer Francis Graffard has admitted that the owners of Malavath are keen to send their star three-year-old to Newmarket for the Qipco 1,000 Guineas.
Owned by Everest Racing, David Redvers and Mrs Barbara M Keller, Malavath holds an entry for the Group 1 Classic and has been well supported to 12/1 following her win in the Prix Imprudence at Deauville earlier this month.
Graffard has explained that with most of the trials now complete, heading over to England for the 1,000 Guineas is the most likely destination rather than waiting another two weeks for the Emirates Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Longchamp.
Zelle rematch remains a possibility
If that is the case then she will face a rematch with Zellie, who finished second to Malavath at Deauville on April 7th, after trainer Andre Fabre confirmed that she would be aimed for the British Classic.
The win for Malavath was her third from six career starts as she made a winning return following a 153-day break.
Her other two triumphs came at Chantilly, first in the Prix de la Piste Rodosto and then second in the Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte.

Malavath could face unbeaten Fillies' Mile winner Inspiral on the Rowley Mile in the 1,000 Guineas, while Cheveley Park Stakes heroine Tenebrism, Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Discoveries and the Aidan O'Brien-trained Tuesday could also appear in the mile Group 1.
Graffard said: "We are leaning towards Newmarket. If she were to stay here the problem is that she’s never run right-handed, while the owners would like to go for the Guineas."
