Women's PGA Championship this year's notable players

Nelly Korda starts the PGA as this year’s favourite, as the two-time Major champion has won six times on the LPGA Tour this year.

Korda's impressive streak of success this year started with victory in the LPGA Drive On Championship at the end of January.

February and June are the only months in 2024 during which she failed to lift a trophy and many people will expect the 25-year-old Floridian to claim some June joy at Sahalee.

Also in the running are Atthaya Thitikul, Ayake Furue and Brooke Henderson, top players who will be expected to be in the mix come Sunday.
