The DP World Tour has moved to Sweden for the Scandinavian Mixed - an event featuring both men and women - and the betting suggests it is a wide-open affair.
The Scandinavian Mixed started as a DP World Tour event in 2021, with Henrik Stenson and Annika Sorenstam acting as dual hosts, and this week's gathering is the fourth edition. Men have had the edge over women thus far - and that trend seems likely to continue at Vasatorps Golfklubb.
The field of 156 comprises 78 men and 78 women, with the men playing the course to a total yardage of 7,295 yards and the women's tees making it a 6,342-yard layout for them. The previous three Scandinavian Mixed have also had a total yardage gap of around 1,000, so history should provide a solid guide to the future.
Last year only four women featured in the top 40 on the Scandinavian Mixed leaderboard. In 2022, Linn Grant romped to a remarkable nine-shot victory, but she was the only woman in the top 14. In the inaugural event, only two women finished in the top 17.
Alexander Bjork to win - 18/1
Men dominate the betting for this renewal, with Rasmus Hojgaard, the highest-ranked male in attendance, topping the market at 14/1. Sebastian Soderberg, who has twice finished runner-up on the DP World Tour this season, is available at 16/1.
Two other men can be suggested as potential title candidates - Alexander Bjork and Henrik Norlander - while an in-form Swedish woman could be worth following for a top-20 finish.
Bjork is making a significant downgrade this week from the PGA Tour, where he has been competing as a rookie this season. The Swede finished 11th in The American Express in January and has made seven of his last 11 cuts.
Bjork finished 39th in the US PGA Championship last time out - a great effort on a long course which does not play to his strengths - and he should tee up at a much more suitable venue this week with title aspirations.
Bjork can be backed at 18/1.
Henrik Norlander to win - 45/1
Norlander has won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour - a circuit which is arguably stronger at times than the DP World Tour - and he has also twice lost a play-off on the PGA Tour.
This year he has performed well in weak PGA Tour events, finishing 13th in the Mexico Open, 15th in the Puerto Rico Open and 20th in the Myrtle Beach Classic.
In this week's grade, Norlander could be a factor. He signed off from the Canadian Open last week with an encouraging 69 and should be looking forward to teeing up in his home country.
The 45/1 has been understandably popular.
Johanna Gustavsson - Top-20 Finish - 6/1
Repeating the heroics of Grant in 2022 may be too much for the female contingent this week, but Johanna Gustavsson seems set to give a decent account of herself.
Gustavsson has been in rock-solid form on the Ladies European Tour and the Swede has the punch off the tee to be effective at Vasatorps Golfklubb.
Gustavsson can be backed at 6/1 for a top-20 finish. Grant, Anne van Dam and Chiara Tamburlini are other women who may be good enough to get into the higher reaches of the leaderboard.
