The DP World Tour stays in the Middle East this week for the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, hot on the heels of an exciting Dubai Desert Classic.
Tyrrell Hatton fended off a fast-finishing Rory McIlroy and others in the Dubai Desert Classic, but those two have jetted home for a week off. Thorbjorn Olesen, who lives in Dubai, has stayed in the region for the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.
Olesen is 12/1 market leader for the Ras shootout, which takes place at Al Hamra Golf Club, where the Dane won the tournament by six shots 12 months ago.
Former Masters champion, Patrick Reed, can be backed at 18/1 for Al Hamra glory. The LIV Golf star won the Hong Kong Open on the Asian Tour at the end of November.
Keita Nakajima to win and each-way - 18/1
Japanese youngster Keita Nakajima appears to be developing into one of the best players in the world and the 24-year-old can be fancied to make a major impact in the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.
Nakajima, who was world number one amateur for 87 weeks, has won four times on the Japan Tour and once on the DP World Tour - a four-shot success in the Indian Open in March. Given the way he finished 2024, there is every reason to believe that he will contend at Al Hamra.
Nakajima finished 13th in the Abu Dhabi Championship and seventh in the DP World Tour Championship. He started 2025 with 21st spot in the Dubai Desert Classic, closing with an albatross, and can hit the ground running in Ras Al Khaimah, where he finished fourth 12 months ago.
Angel Ayora to win and each-way - 40/1
LIV Golf chiefs have reportedly been attempting to woo Angel Ayora to their circuit and it is easy to see why.
The 20-year-old Spaniard quickly proved too good for the Challenge Tour in his rookie campaign last season, immediately winning promotion to the DP World Tour.
Sixth place in the Australian PGA Championship at the end of November was followed by fifth in the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa in December. This sweet-swinger makes his first start of 2025 this week.
Ayora teed up in the United Arab Emirates last April, finishing ninth in a Challenge Tour event there, and he has returned to the desert bristling with confidence. It seems only a matter of time before he claims some DPWT silverware.
Adrien Dumont de Chassart to win and each-way - 70/1
Another young gun who could be ready to make an impact on the Ras Al Khaimah Championship is Adrien Dumont de Chassart, who won on the Korn Ferry Tour in the summer of 2023, then came second the following week.
The Belgian quickly won promotion from the Korn Ferry Tour to the PGA Tour, but failed to retain his full playing rights, finding his form too late in the season. Third place in the Bermuda Championship in the middle of November was a hugely encouraging performance, though, and the 24-year-old could be primed to start 2025 with a bang.
In a low-grade DPWT event on a straightforward layout, Dumont de Chassart possesses the tools to get his career back on track. He was last seen finishing 25th in a much better event - the RSM Classic - on the PGA Tour.
