There are two events left in the LIV Golf regular season and attention is focused on the LIV Golf Season Standings - the winner of which will land an $18 million bonus cheque.
Joaquin Niemann, who leads the points list, is joined in the LIV Greenbrier field this week by his closest pursuer in the season-long race - Jon Rahm - while Bryson DeChambeau is the defending LIV Greenbrier champion.
Joaquin Niemann to win and each-way - 8/1
Niemann's motivation for LIV Golf Greenbrier is obvious. With just two events left of the regular season he is in pole position in the standings, staring at a mouth-watering cheque of $18 million.
If Niemann can retain his current place atop the 2024 LIV list through LIV Greenbrier and the season-ending LIV Chicago, he will bank that jaw-dropping sum of money.
While other players may be switching off mentally a little in the closing weeks of the year, Niemann has probably been hard at work on the practice ground making sure his game is in peak condition.
The Chilean has already won two LIV titles this year - Mayakoba and Jeddah - and his form figures from the last three LIV events have been 3-6-2.
The 25-year-old appears at the peak of his powers and tees up this week at a course he loves.
Niemann made his PGA Tour debut at the Old White in 2017, finishing 29th when still an amateur, then was fifth the following year, before landing his maiden Tour title at the course in 2019.
Bryson DeChambeau to win and each-way - 7/1
The emphatic winner of the inaugural LIV Greenbrier was DeChambeau, who reached 23-under par through 54 holes, closing with a spectacular round of 58. All eyes will be on the defending champion in the early stages of this week.
DeChambeau won by six shots last year and tees up this time with even more confidence, having won the US Open in fine style in June.
If big Bryson brings some focus to this week's Old White return, he could get somewhere close to repeating his heroics of 12 months ago.
DeChambeau has been enjoying an incredible 2024 campaign, finishing sixth in the Masters, second in the US PGA, then winning the US Open for a second time, defeating Rory McIlroy in a thrilling duel for the title.
The 30-year-old Californian last won a LIV title in Chicago last September and is seeking a third LIV victory of his career on Sunday.
David Puig to win and each-way - 35/1
Spanish youngster David Puig could be worth following in LIV Greenbrier. He finished fourth in the inaugural event last year and fell in love with the Old White.
Puig, who was third in LIV Houston in June, won on the Asian Tour in February and has been growing in confidence all year.
He has moved up to world number 133 despite not gaining any world-ranking points in LIV events, keeping busy on other tours between his LIV commitments.
Puig finished 11th in LIV UK - the last LIV gathering - and if he can repeat his 16-under-par total from the last LIV Greenbrier he will have a chance of winning this time.
