The LIV Golf League returns to North Texas this week for the ninth event of its 2025 season, as Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton hosts LIV Golf Dallas presented by Aramco.
With just six events left on the schedule and an Open Championship exemption place also up for grabs, the 54 players have plenty to play for in both individual and team honours.
LIV Golf Dallas will be available to watch on ITVX as well as the LIV Golf Plus app.
Fans can catch all three rounds live and for free on DAZN in select countries, including the UK and Canada.
LIV Golf Dallas takes place from Friday, June 27th to Sunday, June 29th, 2025, at Maridoe Golf Club. The first round starts at 17:05 BST on Friday, with the action on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 18:05.
A shotgun format is used for the starts.
Maridoe Golf Club, just north of Dallas, is recognised as one of Texas’s most demanding layouts. Redesigned in 2017 by Steve Smyers, the par-72 course stretches over 7,400 yards and features Bermuda grass, water hazards on 14 holes, and is often buffeted by strong winds.
The course’s challenging dogleg par-4s and penal rough will test even the best in the field.
This is LIV Golf’s second visit to Maridoe, but the first as a regular-season event after last year’s Dallas Team Championship, where Cameron Smith’s Ripper GC triumphed.
Individual points leader Joaquin Niemann, captain of Torque GC, arrives in Dallas with four wins in eight events this season and a slim lead over Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau in the standings.
The 54-player field will compete for a $20 million purse, with $4m to the individual winner and $5m to the top team.
Local favourites include DeChambeau (Crushers GC), Carlos Ortiz and Sebastian Munoz (Torque GC), while Patrick Reed (4Aces GC), Sergio Garcia (Fireballs GC) and Abraham Ancer (Fireballs GC) all call Texas home.
DeChambeau will be looking to bounce back after missing the cut at the U.S. Open.
Rahm has recorded a string of 21 consecutive top-10 finishes in his LIV Golf events.
Cameron Smith, Brooks Koepka, Garcia, and Reed are all in the field, adding Major championship pedigree to the event.
