KLM Open: How to watch, TV channel, course details and more

The DP World Tour returns this week with the KLM Open, which will be held in the Netherlands at the International in Amsterdam.

This will be the second time the course has played host to the event after Sergio Garcia won there in 2019.

How to watch the KLM Open and TV Channel

The KLM Open will be televised on Sky Sports Golf, starting on Thursday.

KLM Open dates and times

The first players will tee off at the International at 06:30 (BST) on Thursday 19th June with the winner being crowned after the fourth round or any potential playoff is completed on Sunday 22nd June.

KLM Open course details and venue

The International will host the KLM Open this year and players will be presented with a links-style test, even though the course is inland and close to Amsterdam’s main Schiphol airport.

There is plenty of fescue rough that will have to be avoided on the track which is a par-71 that measures 6,914 yards.

KLM Open stats and past winners

The Dutch Open was first played in 1912, making it one of Europe’s oldest tournaments and it first became part of the European Tour in 1972.

A variety of courses have been used over the years, with the last three taking place at the Bernardus Golf complex in Cromviort.

European golf giants Seve Ballesteros and Bernhard Langer both won the tournament on three occasions and another former Masters champion, Sergio Garcia was victorious the last time it was played at this year’s venue in 2019.

Pablo Larrazabal is the defending champion after he beat fellow Spaniard Adrian Otaegui by two shots last year.

This year’s notable players at the KLM Open

This looks set to be a keenly contested tournament and Matt Wallace and Sebastian Soderberg are well-fancied at 14/1.

Wallace holds the 18-hole course record at the International after his 63 five years ago, while Soderberg has finished in the top three in each of his last four DP World Tour events.

Recent European Open winner Laurie Canter is 18/1 and will fancy his chances of adding another DPWT triumph to his name, while Austrian Bernd Wiesberger, who was runner-up to Canter in Germany three weeks ago, is the same price and keen to go one better.

Last year’s winner Larrazabal can be backed at 45/1.
