The PGA Tour moves from Florida to Texas for this week's Houston Open and the two players at the top of the betting have made for an intriguing tournament.
Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, world number one and two respectively, will both be in attendance at Memorial Park Golf Course and they are priced at 7/2 and 15/2 to claim the spoils.
The pair are expected to be duking it out for Masters glory in a couple of weeks time and landing a victory here would serve as a big momentum boost heading into that Augusta National outing.
McIlroy did exactly that on his last start, lifting the Players Championship for the second time, but he has not played the Houston Open since 2014 and it remains to be seen how he handles this course.
With McIlroy and Scheffler dominating the top of the market, it means there are bigger odds available on the rest of the field and there are three individuals who jump out at big prices.
Redesigned in 2019 by Tom Doak with the assistance of Brooks Koepka, Memorial Park Golf Course has a number of run-off areas around the greens after the decision was made to cut the bunkers from 54 to 20.
This makes life more challenging for the professional player if they are off the mark on approach and the ability to get up-and-down could prove key, as will finding the dancefloor and dropping the putts.
On that basis, the first selection goes to Victor Perez, who is one of the crispest ball-strikers around and looks like a big price to make his PGA Tour breakthrough in Texas.
The 32-year-old Frenchman, who is a three-time DP World Tour winner, endured a tricky start to the year but has managed to put in a couple of positive performances on his last two starts, finishing T18 at the Cognizant Classic and T22 at the Valspar Championship.
A big positive from last week's effort at the Valspar was Perez's showing on the greens, as he ranked 19th in strokes gained putting and 13th in putts per greens in regulation.
The flat stick tends to be the club that lets the world number 97 down but the fact he has wielded that club with more authority makes him a tempting pick for success this week.
Perez ranks eighth in total driving and is better than the field average in GIR on the US circuit this season so his long game is clearly in good shape, and the fact he was tied-17th here on debut last year suggests he likes the layout.
If you want a player in red-hot form with the putter, then it's hard to look past Jacob Bridgeman, who led in strokes gained putting at the Valspar when finishing third.
The American is sixth overall in SG putting, 29th in putting average, 11th in putts per round and 16th in one-putt percentage, further evidence of how good he is on the greens.
On the occasion he missed the dancefloor, Bridgeman's short game has come to the rescue as he ranks 17th in scrambling and that aspect of his game could be used to full advantage in Texas.
Ranking 14th in strokes gained total, the 25-year-old was tied-second at the Cognizant Classic four starts ago and his recent form suggests a PGA Tour breakthrough is not far away.
Bridgeman registered a T21 on his Houston Open debut last year and he looks capable of bettering that position by some margin.
Another player to watch out for this week is Davis Riley, who is almost back inside the top 100 in the world rankings and who has been showing positive signs over the past couple of tournaments.
Having started 2025 with a withdrawal and four missed cuts, the two-time PGA Tour winner looked better when T48 at the Cognizant before then ending up T6 at Puerto Rico Open.
A T38 at the Players Championship followed, his best result at TPC Sawgrass in three efforts, and he kept that momentum going at the Valspar when taking sole possession of seventh.
Riley's game looks to be in good shape again and he has improved on all three cracks at the Houston Open, going 29th in 2021, 27th in 2022 and most recently 14th last year.
Ranking 19th in putting average, the 28-year-old is comfortable on the greens and if he can replicate the long game he has shown in recent weeks, then he could be in the mix come Sunday.
