China Open: How to watch, TV channel, live stream, course details and more

The DP World Tour season resumes this week following a mini-break and there is plenty of intrigue ahead of the 30th anniversary of the China Open.

Having been played at Hidden Grace Golf Club, formerly known as Genzon GC, for the past five editions, this year's event will be taking place at the Robert Trent Jr-designed Enhance Anting Golf Club in Shanghai.

How to watch the China Open and TV channel

The China Open will be available to watch on Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Main Event, with the coverage for all four days starting at 06:00 BST.

Live streaming will be available via NOW and Sky Go.

China Open dates and times

The China Open takes place from Thursday 17th April to Sunday 20th April.

The first tee time is scheduled for 23:20 BST on Wednesday 16th April, with the final three-ball getting started at 06:30 BST on Thursday.

China Open course details and venue

The China Open will be played at Enhance Anting Golf Club in Shanghai this year, a course founded in 2005.

A par 71 measuring 7,168 yards, this tree-lined and open parkland layout is a difficult test. Strategic bunkering and several water hazards put a premium on accuracy.

China Open stats and past winners

Frenchman Alexander Levy is the only player to have won the China Open twice, lifting the trophy in 2014 when beating Tommy Fleetwood by four shots and then overcoming Dylan Frittelli in a play-off in 2017.

Spaniard Adrian Otaegui claimed the spoils last year when the tournament was reduced to 54 holes due to weather.

Other previous winners of this event include Englishman Paul Casey and South African Branden Grace, who both ply their trade on the LIV Tour now.

China Open this year’s notable players

Home favourite Haotong Li will be hoping to have a strong week and he arrives in solid form, with his victory at the Qatar Masters followed by finishes of T41-T16-T9.

Englishman Jordan Smith, such a steady player from tee-to-green, will also be teeing it up, alongside compatriots Matthew Jordan, Marco Penge and Andy Sullivan.

Spaniard Jorge Campillo, Dutchman Joost Luiten and South African Shaun Norris are another three notable players that will be in attendance.
