The DP World Tour season continues this week with the Bahrain Championship from Royal Golf Club on the Persian Gulf.
Thorbjorn Olesen, who was a flopping favourite in last week's Ras Al Khaimah Championship, is prominent in the betting again for Bahrain at 16/1. The Dane is an eight-time DP World Tour champion.
Former Masters champion Patrick Reed, who usually competes on the LIV circuit, is also jostling for market leadership in the Middle East at 14/1.
The Bahrain Championship will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Golf.
The Bahrain Championship starts at 03:30 GMT on Thursday 30th January, 2025. The 72-hole event concludes on Sunday 2nd February with the final round.
Royal Golf Club is a 7,302-yard, par-72, with four par-fives and two short par-fours which are reachable off the tee to big-hitters unless into the wind.
The course hosted the 2011 Volvo Golf Champions on the DP World Tour, then the inaugural Bahrain Championship last year.
Paul Casey won the 2011 Volvo Golf Champions at Royal GC, then Dylan Frittelli won the first Bahrain Championship 12 months ago.
Frittelli is the only course winner in this week's field.
Olesen, who will be hoping to qualify for the European Ryder Cup team, is one of the best players in attendance.
Reed is seeking world ranking points, which are not available in LIV events, while David Puig, who is 16/1 in the outright tournament market, is another talented LIV representative taking the chance of a rare DP World Tour invitation.
