Scottie Scheffler is expected to be the player to beat at Bay Hill, having won two of the last three editions of the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour.
The world number one can be backed at 16/5 for another triumph in Florida, although he has played just three tournaments this year, easing his way into the season after hand surgery, and form figures of 9-25-3 are disappointing by his extremely high standards.
Rory McIlroy is available at 8/1 as he bids to win a second Arnold Palmer Invitational title. The Northern Irishman triumphed at Bay Hill in 2018 and has quickly built confidence this year, winning the Pebble Beach Pro-Am last month.
Ludvig Aberg to win and each-way - 14/1
Swedish sensation Ludvig Aberg should go close to winning back-to-back Signature Events on the PGA Tour this week.
The 25-year-old suffered with stomach flu last month and took time to get back to his fighting weight, but closing rounds of 66, 70, 66 secured Genesis Invitational glory at Torrey Pines.
Aberg has had a fortnight off since his Torrey Pines heroics and can return to action fresh and firing. He banked a $4m cheque in the Genesis and can claim another one at Bay Hill in his third Arnold Palmer Invitational appearance.
The Swede teed up in the 2023 Arnold Palmer when he was still an amateur, ranked 1,983rd in the world, and he tied for 24th.
Last year only two players in the Bay Hill field outscored Aberg in round three as he finished 25th.
This week, he has returned as world number four, teeing up in his adopted home state, having moved into a house in Ponte Vedra Beach with his girlfriend in November.
Sam Burns to win and each-way - 45/1
The Valspar Championship, another PGA Tour event staged at a tough Florida track, has been extremely profitable for Sam Burns.
His maiden title came in the 2021 Valspar, then he retained the trophy 12 months later, so Burns has proved his mettle on this type of track.
The 28-year-old has also shown he can handle Bay Hill, where he finished ninth in 2022, and the five-time PGA Tour champion could easily get into the mix this week.
Burns ended last season in impressive fashion, finding his A-game in the FedEx Cup playoffs, finishing second in the BMW Championship.
This year slow starts have been costing Burns and he has been carrying a cold putter, but he closed with a 66 in Phoenix and a 69 in the Genesis.
Given how much he loves putting on Bermuda greens, like those found at Bay Hill, Burns can be expected to make a faster start this week.
Billy Horschel to win and each-way - 90/1
Punters looking for an outsider this week could do a lot worse than take the juicy prices about Billy Horschel.
The Floridian relishes tough tracks in his home state and he appears to have found form at the ideal time to be a Bay Hill contender.
A share of 25th place in the Cognizant Classic was encouraging for Horschel, then he followed up by being part of a winning duo in the Seminole Pro Member event on Monday - a prestigious gathering featuring many of the world's best players.
Horschel has won eight PGA Tour titles, including a WGC, as well as a FedEx Cup, so he is not frightened by elite gatherings like this one.
He finished second in the Open Championship last year - the last Major staged - and seems well capable of getting into the mix at Bay Hill.
