Perth Glory have completed the signing of Socceroos midfielder Mustafa Amini who has penned a three-year deal with the club.
It has been a huge week for Glory with a host of new players arriving, while it has also been confirmed that captain Brandon O’Neill is leaving the club.
Amini has had a glittering career since breaking on to the scene with the Central Coast Mariners, where he won a premiership in 2012.
The 29-year-old went on to play in Germany, Denmark and Greece before returning to the A-League with Sydney FC last season.

He made 17 appearances for the Sky Blues but is now looking forward to a fresh start in Western Australia with the Glory.
“I’m excited and happy about coming to play for Perth Glory,” he told the club’s website. “I’m really looking forward to the challenge of being part of a rebuild of Perth Glory, getting the club back to the top, working under [Head Coach] Ruben
Zadkovich and meeting the team, the coaching staff, the admin staff and everyone involved at Perth Glory.
“Personally, I’m excited to have my future sorted and have big goals for myself and for the team. I can’t wait to get to Perth and get ready for Round One.”
Meanwhile Glory coach Ruben Zadkovich has saluted the signing and believes it is a great one for the club.
“To have the quality of such a high-calibre player, but more importantly, a top character in the dressing room, will be huge for the club,” he said. “He will be a pivotal part of our rebuild and I’m very excited that he’s on board.”
