Perth Glory have confirmed Ruben Zadkovich as their head coach for the next two A-League campaigns as part of a major reshuffle at the club.
Glory picked up the wooden spoon for the first time in their history following a disastrous 2021/22 season which resulted in Richard Garcia being axed as head coach.
Zadkovich was appointed as interim boss following the departure of Garcia and saw out the season with a squad that was hit by illness and injury.
The former player has now landed the gig on a full-time basis. Joe Gallen who has vast experience of coaching in the UK with the likes of Portsmouth and Wolves, will be Zadkovich’s assistant.

Elsewhere, Kenny Lowe returns as Academy Director, Mich d’Avary will be technical consultant, Chris Coyne is assistant and NPL coach. Finally Andy Keogh will be head of recruitment after retiring from playing.
Zadkovich is excited to have taken the reins on a full-time basis and is looking forward to working with the new coaching set-up.
“I’m extremely excited to be spearheading this rebuild with so many quality people around me,” Zadkovich said. “I have known Joe since he coached me as a 17-year-old at QPR, I also worked under Kenny and I played with both Chris and Andy, so I know exactly what they each bring to the table.
“The football department team we have assembled has all the ingredients required to drive this proud club forward.”
