Rob Cross edged past Gerwyn Price in a thrilling quarter-final in Cardiff last week and the pair will lock-horns once more in the North East on Thursday.

Price looked to have done enough to get himself over the line in front of a vociferous Welsh crowd, but watched on in disbelief as 'Voltage' landed the big fish with a sensational 170 checkout to wrap up victory with 'Gezzy' ready to pounce on double tops.

I am envisaging an equally as tight affair this time around, with 'The Iceman' managing to avenge his crushing defeat seven days earlier.

I really do like the look of this one to go right down to an 11th, and final, leg shootout, but as part of my Bet Builder, I am taking Price to win in 6-5.

Both players are calm and collected on the big stage and I am expecting this to be a real back and forth tussle, with more 180s being scored than last week.
