Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is on the verge of joining Galatasaray after agreeing personal terms with the Turkish giants.
The 33-year-old stopper is currently Barcelona's longest serving player after making over 400 appearances since joining the La Liga giants in 2014.
He also became the club captain after Sergi Roberto left the club last summer but his 2024/25 campaign was cut short by injury and his replacements Inaki Pena and Wojciech Szczesny both performed admirably in the German's absence.
The performances of Szczesny in particular were enough to keep Ter Stegen out of the team once he was fit again and with the immnent arrival of Joan Garcia from Espanyol, Ter Stegen is on the verge of leaving the club this summer.
Turkish outlet Fanatik have reported that Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have already agreed personal terms with the goalkeeper, however the intricacies of the deal are yet to be formalised.
Galatasaray are looking to secure a permanent deal for Ter Stegen and are not anticipating a sizeable transfer fee, but they also could settle for a loan deal with an option to buy next season.
