Fulham have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg confirmed the news of the imminent transfer on his official X account.
"Hugo Larsson to Fulham - DONE DEAL.
"Basic agreement reached with Eintracht Frankfurt. Final details between the clubs are being clarified. Green light has already been given for Larsson to fly for his medical. Package worth up to €25m.
"Fulham wanted Larsson and had been negotiating directly with him, as exclusively revealed this week. Larsson was already in London for talks."
It could be a busy transfer deadline day for Fulham and the signing of Larsson provides manager Alvaro Arbeloa with another strong option in the centre of midfield.
The Swedish international has been linked with various clubs throughout Europe this summer and Arbeloa will be delighted that he has chosen Fulham.
Larsson joined Frankfurt from Swedish side Malmo in the summer of 2023 and he went on to make 119 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.
The 22-year-old is likely to go straight into the Fulham squad for the visit of Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
Fulham have started the new league season with back-to-back defeats to Chelsea and Sunderland.
