There's one game apiece in La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 on Friday night as the early weekend top-flight football across Europe takes place.
In Spain, Girona entertain Athletic Bilbao, it's Udinese versus Lecce in Italy, while Borussia Monchengladbach host VfB Stuttgart in Germany and Auxerre go to Troyes in France.
What | Girona v Athletic Bilbao, La Liga |
Where | Estadi Montilivi, Girona, Spain |
When | 20:00, Friday 4th November 2022 |
How to watch | Viaplay Sports 1, La Liga TV |
Odds | Girona 27/10, draw 5/2, Atheltic Bilbao 1/1 |
Athletic Bilbao will go third, albeit probably only until Sunday, with a victory over Girona, who are one place above the bottom three on goal difference.
The hosts did surprise plenty by holding La Liga leaders Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw last weekend but they have not won any of their last seven matches and are likely to be up against it as they take on Ernesto Valverde's side, who ended a four-game winless run with a 1-0 success over Villarreal last time out.
An away win is 1/1, a Girona victory - which would ease their relegation concerns - is 27/10 and a draw is 5/2.
What | Udinese v Lecce, Serie A |
Where | Dacia Stadium, Udine, Italy |
When | 19:45, Friday 4th November 2022 |
How to watch | BT Sport 2 |
Odds | Udinese 11/20, draw 16/5, Lecce 5/1 |
Udinese's eye-catching six-game winning run in Serie A from the end of August is a bit of a distant memory now as The Little Zebras have failed to win any of their last five matches in all competitions and they were held to a goalless draw by bottom-of-the-table Cremonese last weekend.
However, they should get back to winning ways, with a home success, available at 11/20, against a Lecce outfit who are only two points and one place above the drop zone and have not won any of their last five matches.

What | Borussia Monchengladbach v VfB Stuttgat, Bundesliga |
Where | Borussia Park, Monchengladbach, Germany |
When | 19:30, Friday 4th November 2022 |
How to watch | Sky Sports Mix |
Odds | Borussia Monchengladbach 21/20, draw 3/1, VfB Stuttgart 11/5 |
Monchengladbach, who are 11th, have lost their last two Bundesliga games so will be keen to put an end to that bad run when they host 15th-placed Stuttgart.
Die Fohlen have been inconsistent so far this season, winning four, drawing four and losing the other four of their 12 games in the German top flight, but they are fancied to come out on top, at 21/20, against a Stuttgart side who are five points worse off having only won twice in the league.
There have been signs of improvement from the visitors of late, though, as they followed up a 4-1 league win over Bochum by hammering Arminia Bielefeld 6-0 in the German Cup and, after going down 5-0 to Borussia Dortmund, they did beat Augsburg 2-1 last weekend.
What | Troyes v Auxerre, Ligue 1 |
Where | Stade de l'Aube, Troyes, France |
When | 20:00, Friday 4th November 2022 |
How to watch | BT Sport 3 |
Odds | Troyes 19/20, draw 13/5, Auxerre 3/1 |
Troyes have not won any of their last five Ligue 1 games, losing three, but they did run Paris Saint-Germain close last weekend when they were only edged out 4-3 by the leaders.
They are 12th, but only a point ahead of Friday's opponents Auxerre, who are down in 16th. AJA picked up a 1-0 victory over Ajaccio last time to end a torrid sequence of eight games without a win.
Troyes are the favourites at 19/20 to secure the three points, a draw is somewhat tempting at 13/5 while an unlikely away win for Auxerre is 3/1.
Elsewhere on Friday across Europe, SC Cambuur host NEC in the Eredivisie at 19:00, there are two games at 17:00 in Turkey's Super Lig when Kasimpasa welcome Ankaragucu and Umraniyespor are at home against Alanyaspor, and in Portugal, Gil Vicente entertain Portimonense at 20:15.
