World title hopeful Frazer Clarke will take a milestone step on the road to future greatness after being announced as Friday night's headliner in London after Adam Azim's bout with Aram Fanyan was postponed.
Azim, largely considered to be one of world boxing’s most exciting young stars, has been withdrawn from this weekend's event at York Hall after developing a serious hand infection on the back of suffering a cut to his knuckle last month.
His absence from the bill however has paved the way for 2020 Olympic medallist Clarke (1/16) to headline at professional level for the first time, with his bout against 15/2 shot Mariusz Wach now propelled to the top of the bill.
Clarke will follow in the footsteps of esteemed British heavyweights in headlining at the iconic venue in Bethnall Green, with the likes of Lennox Lewis and David Haye - both former world champions - having fought at the historic hall on their path to blue-riband division supremacy.
Wach will arrive in the United Kingdom having taken the likes of Dillian Whyte and Hughie Fury the full distance in recent years, as well as having featured under the brightest of lights against unified world champion, and Hall-of-Famer, Wladimir Klitschko a decade ago.
Chief support to the main event now comes in the shape of the undefeated lightweight contender Caroline Dubois, who is set to tackle 9/1 underdog Yanina del Carmen Lescano, who, just last year, was controversially beaten by Estelle Mossely in her challenge for the IBO lightweight world title.

Caroline Dubois (1/16), the sister of heavyweight hopeful Daniel Dubois, has been described as the future face of the women’s sport, and will be desperate to extend her record to 7-0 by notching a sixth successive stoppage victory – one that could catapult her closer to her own world title opportunity.
Elsewhere on the card, two unbeaten middleweights will leave no stone unturned in their bid for WBC ‘International’ middleweight glory as Aaron McKenna faces the talented Angolan Uisma Lima, whose ‘Monster’ moniker is backed up by a stunning 80 percent career knockout rate.
Heavy leather will be thrown in what is sure to be a heated rematch between cruiserweight rivals Viddal Riley (1/25) and Anees Taj (10/1) after their first fight ended in controversial fashion, with the ringside doctor calling the bout to a halt in the fourth round due to a bad cut above Taj’s eyeline.
The card, which will be shown live on Sky Sports from 19:00, opens with Riley’s fellow cruiserweight prospect Isaac Chamberlain (1/50) taking on Poland’s Daniel Bocianski (14/1), an opponent who suffered a points loss at the hands of Tommy Fury last year.
