Lance Franklin was again the star of the show when booting five goals in a thrilling six-point win over Richmond at the SCG on Friday night.
The Swans are out to make the top eight this season and currently sit sixth on the ladder after picking up their seventh win out of the opening 11 rounds.
Thrilling encounter
The Swans had to complete a remarkable comeback to get over the line and take the 106-100 win. They were trailing by 33 points at one stage but inspired by Franklin they came fighting back.
The superstar forward kicked five goals and picked up the Goodes-O'Loughlin Medal for being best on ground. Swans coach John Longmire had no complaints with that decision.

"He did some pretty special things. At big moments, he was able to put his hand up and do some things that only very few players can do," Longmire told reporters.
"He was 1v2 and a couple of times he was able to break even those contests and he was able to hit the scoreboard with accurate kicking, he played well.”
Back to basics
Meanwhile Longmire also said the remarkable turnaround on the park came after his side went back to doing the basics well.
"We started winning some of those contests. Sometimes it can be all different things you look at, and we just didn't half or win enough of those contests compared to Richmond in the first half, and there were some moments we had to be a bit better and break even," Longmire added.
"We gave away free kicks off the ball and things we need to get better at, and fortunately the players got that sorted at half time and we were very good in the second half."
