Formula 1 is one of the world's most exclusive sports, with only 20 places up for grabs on the grid.
It is also an incredibly dangerous sport to participate in, as despite the various safety measures brought in over the years, ultimately the 20 drivers are vying for position around tight circuits at an average speed of 200mph.
Those that reach the pinnacle of motorsports are therefore handsomely rewarded for it with bumper contracts.
Take a look at the full rundown of the salaries of current F1 drivers, as reported by the Radio Times.
Max Verstappen is the highest paid F1 driver in the 2025 season, on a salary of $65 million.
Following four consecutive world titles with Red Bull, the Dutchman is undoubtably deserved of this contract, although rumours of his unhappiness at the Austrian team may prompt Mercedes or Aston Martin to offer an even higher sum.
The lowest paid drivers in F1 are Isack Hadjar of Racing Bulls and Jack Doohan, formerly of Alpine.
Jack Doohan was removed from his seat and replaced by reserve driver Franco Colapinto following the Miami Grand Prix, so it is possible that his salary has been reduced as he is now the team's back-up option.
Colapinto could also be on less money than the two aforementioned drivers as his contract hasn't been changed since his promotion, he may still be on reserve driver pay. However, nothing has been released or confirmed by his team or F1 insiders.
