With Juventus and Manchester city winning both of their games at the Club World Cup, neither Wydad AC or Al Ain can progress from Group G, whatever the result is of their meeting in Washington on Thursday.
Wydad have the superior goal difference even if there will be little consolation in finishing third in the section, while Al Ain have shown the gap between themselves and the big names of Europe, conceding 11 goals without reply in their two outings.

Wydad have kept two clean sheets in their last 10 games.
The Moroccans have lost their last three matches but suffered just one defeat in their 15 before that.

Both teams have scored in just one of Al Ain’s last nine fixtures.
Al Ain have earned a total of just four corners in their opening two matches at the Club World Cup.
Best Bet: Wydad AC to win @ 7/5
There is little but pride riding on this game as both Wydad AC and Al Ain have found their Group G rivals Juventus and Manchester City far too hot to handle at the Club World Cup, but it could be Wydad who head home having gained a victory from their final outing.
The Moroccan side managed to get on the scoresheet against Juve, whose 4-1 win included an injury-time penalty, while they held out during the second half against City after going in at the break 2-0 down.
They should have too much for the Asian Champions League winners, who have conceded 11 goals in their two games and been totally outclassed.
Ian Wilkerson explains:
While Wydad will be disappointed not to have made more of an impression at the Club World Cup, they have not been embarrassed, while the same cannot really be said of Al Ain, so the Moroccans should be able to demonstrate their superior ability in this one.
Thembinkosi Lorch to score at any time
Over 2.5 goals
Souifane Rahimi to have a shot on target
Pays 7/1
Three selections make up this Bet Builder, starting with Wydad’s Thembinkosi Lorch scoring a goal after he netted for the Moroccans against Juventus and also had three efforts on goal in their 2-0 loss to Manchester City.
There is little for either team to lose in this final game so there is a strong chance that there will be at least three goals, while Al-Ain will be looking to Souifane Rahimi to make a big impression after he inspired them to glory in last year’s Asian Champions League, so back him to have a shot on target.

Ian Wilkerson adds:
There is little point in either of these teams sitting back for what is basically a free hit, so we can expect plenty of goals with Lorch and Rahimi coming to the fore.

Wydad’s 5-4-1 formation may look defensive in a game where they should push forward, but that should not be the case.
The Moroccans should look to attack from wide areas and, if things are not going their way, manager Amine Benhachem is likely to have attacking options such as Samuel Obeng and Mohamed Rayki to make an impression off the bench.
Expected Wydad AC lineup (5-4-1): Benabid; Moufi, Meijers, Boutouil, Ferreira, Moufid; Amrabat, Malsa, El Moubarik, Lorch; Mailula.
Al Ain coach Vladimir Ivic has already shuffled the pack to little effect and the Serbian will want to see a great improvement in his team’s final game.
A return in goal for the experienced Rui Patricio could help steady the ship while much of the attacking burden will be on the shoulders of Soufiane Rahimi.
Expected Al Ain lineup (3-4-1-2):Patricio; Autonne, Park, Rabia; Traore, Nader, Palacios, Chadli; Kaku; Laba, Rahimi.
