The first leg of the League One play-off semi-final between Wycombe Wanderers and Charlton Athletic kicks off on Sunday and Racing Post's Joe Casey has picked out his three best bets for the blockbuster clash at Adams Park.
Charlton draw no bet - 11/10
Wycombe looked like they could be on course for automatic promotion from League One for large parts of the season but they have had to settle for a spot in the play-offs after losing their last three games of the campaign, which saw them drop down to fifth in the table.
They face a tough assignment in the play-off semi-finals too, against a Charlton side who finished the campaign with a rattle to secure a top-six spot.
The Addicks won six of their last eight league matches, including a 4-0 victory over these opponents at this ground.
That is set to have a big psychological impact on this clash and despite Wycombe having a strong season, they could fall short at the first hurdle.
The goals have dried up in a worrying way for the Chairboys, as they scored just five times in their last eight league matches as they appeared to run out of steam.
By contrast, the free-flowing visitors won 11 of their last 15 league games, netting 27 times in that run.
Addicks boss Nathan Jones has secured promotion from both League Two and League One in his career and could move one step closer to repeating the trick with a win on Sunday.
The stalemate is likely to be a big runner given the stakes of this clash so take that out of the equation and back Charlton in the draw no bet market.
Matt Godden to score at any time - 9/4
Matt Godden was arguably unfortunate to have to leave Coventry in search of first-team football after an impressive five years with the Sky Blues.
The 33-year-old dropped down to League One to join Charlton and has been a revelation for his new club at this lower level.
Godden has netted 21 times in all competitions for the visitors and is also the Addicks’ penalty taker so looks to have a solid case for getting on the scoresheet in this play-off first leg.
Conor Coventry to be shown a card - 7/5
Conor Coventry has been key in the midfield for the Addicks this season, starting 44 of their 46 games, the most of any player for the away team.
The Irishman does a lot of the dirty work in the Charlton midfield and as a result often runs into trouble with the referee.
Coventry has been shown 11 yellow cards in League One and was shown a caution in his side’s FA Cup clash with Southend too.
In a match that could be decided by the midfield battle, Coventry could pick up another card.
