Wrexham have sealed promotion to the Championship following a 3-0 win over Charlton Athletic at the Racecourse Ground.
This means Phil Parkinson's side have remarkably become the first team ever to secure three consecutive promotions in the EFL starting from National League level.
Wrexham's promotion to the Championship will mark the first time they will play in the second tier of English football since 1982, when they participated in the old Second Division.
"I think it's about the collective. The owners have come in and done an amazing job," Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson told BBC Wales.
I'm so pleased for them because they deserve it. There's lots of ways you can be supportive as owners. It can be making sure we get a key player when it matters the most.
"But it can also be support when the results don't go quite as well as you want them to, but still allowing us to do our jobs.
That's what they've always done. They're invested in all of the decisions, but they trust us in our decision making and that's why we've had success over the last three years."
The Red Dragons earned automatic promotion from League Two last season after finishing second in the table behind champions Stockport County, and the Welsh outfit have done the same again in League One, with Birmingham City storming their way to the title.
Wrexham had been in automatic promotion contention all season in England's third tier but faced stiff competition from Wycombe Wanderers in particular in what has been a compelling League One campaign.
The success of Phil Parkinson's side has been built upon a strong collective, with six different players notching five or more League One goals this term - Steven Fletcher, Ollie Rathbone, Max Cleworth, Elliot Lee, Jack Marriott and Sam Smith.
Wrexham's home form at the Racecourse Ground has also played a pivotal role in their successful promotion bid, with the Red Dragons only losing twice in front of their own supporters in the league all season.
