The Women's World Sevens is a seven-a-side football tournament featuring eight teams.
The tournament is invitational, with the eight teams planned to be different in each edition.
The competition will begin with a two-day group phase involving two groups of four teams.
The top two from each group will progress through to a knockout stage consisting of two semi-finals and a final.
Each match in the tournament will last 30 minutes in duration.
The Women's World Sevens will take place over a three-day period between 21st May and 23rd May 2025.
The Women's World Sevens will be held in Estoril, Portugal at the multi-use stadium of the Estadio Antonio Coimbra da Mota.
