Premier League rivals Wolves and West Ham will meet in a pre-season friendly in the United States this weekend as new Hammers manager Julen Lopetegui goes up against his former club.
Lopetegui, who was named as David Moyes' replacement in the West Ham dugout over the summer, will be facing Wolves for the first time since leaving the club on the eve of 2023/24 season.
The Spaniard will not be the only one coming up against former employers in Florida, as new Hammers defender Max Kilman will be facing the club he captained last season.
Wolves v West Ham will be available to watch in the UK on Premier Sports 2 and will also be shown on the official websites of both clubs.
The match will kick-off at 00.00 BST on Sunday 28th August and will take place at the EverBank Stadium, Jacksonville, Florida, which is the home of NFL team the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Wolves ended last season poorly, winning only one and losing seven of their final 10 Premier League fixtures, although they have recorded victories over Como and Bristol City this pre-season.
West Ham are unbeaten in their two friendly fixtures under Lopetegui, coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros before edging past Dagenham & Redbridge 1-0.
Both sides will open their Premier League campaigns on 17th August, with Wolves visiting Arsenal and West Ham hosting Aston Villa.
The Hammers did the double over Wolves last season, following up December's 3-0 victory at the London Stadium with a 2-1 success at Molineux in April.
