Wolves v Everton: Free Tips, Prediction and Odds

Everton have been rejuvenated since the return of David Moyes and the Scottish tactician will be looking to deliver another win when his side head to Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Toffees may be only two places above the relegation zone but they have a 15-point buffer to the bottom three and it would take a huge collapse for them to get dragged back into the dog fight they were once in this season.

As for Wolves, they occupy 17th position and are five points clear of both Ipswich Town (18th) and Leicester City (19th), but Vitor Pereira's men know they are not yet safe and need to keep pressing on.

Everton to win -  15/8

The decision by Everton to bring back Moyes as manager after sacking Sean Dyche was met with some raised eyebrows, but anyone questioning that choice at the time surely won't have anything but praise for the work the former West Ham boss is doing.

Appointed on 11th January, the 61-year-old lost his first game back, a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa that the Toffees passed up numerous scoring opportunities in, but his side have since registered four wins and three draws in the league.

Victories over Tottenham, Brighton, Leicester and Crystal Palace, along with points against Liverpool, Manchester United and Brentford has helped the Merseyside club move to within eight points of the magical 40-point mark, although less will likely be needed to survive this term.

The only blemish during this period was a 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Bournemouth and a four-game unbeaten streak since that exit shows the great spirit and determination in the squad to hit back and refocus.

Everton now head to Molineux to take on a Wolves side that will be without talisman and top goalscorer Matheus Cunha, who is suspended after his red card in the loss to the Cherries in the cup last time out.

Cunha has bagged 13 league goals this term, accounting for over a third of the 37 total goals the club have scored, and his absence could be felt hard by the hosts.

Wolves are also struggling for form at Molineux, losing three of their last four outings, and it would be no surprise to see them fall to another defeat at the hands of a well-organised, galvanised Everton.

Jarrad Branthwaite anytime goalscorer - 18/1

In the absence of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Beto has stepped up to the plate for Everton, netting three goals in his last four appearances, but there looks to be huge value in looking to another potential goalscorer on Saturday.

The 18/1 available on Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite to find the back of the net is hard to ignore, given how badly Wolves have defended set-pieces this season.

Wolves have conceded 17 times from set-pieces in the top flight, one more than rock-bottom Southampton, and they may struggle to contain a Toffees defence boasting three players over 6ft tall.

One of those is Branthwaite, who stands at 6ft 4in, and he looks set to be a real danger from any corners and free-kicks that come Everton's way.

Wolves +1 card handicap - 11/8

Both of these teams have been willing to get stuck in this season, with Wolves picking up 57 yellows compared to Everton's 56 and both sides receiving two reds in the top flight.

Pereira also witnessed his side go down to 10 last time out when Cunha lost his cool against Bournemouth in the FA Cup and the relegation-threatened team have been hot-tempered in recent weeks.

The yellow card count for Wolves in their last six matches in all competitions reads 2-1-2-3-1-5, while Everton's tally in their last six assignments is 0-1-2-1-4-1.

When results are going against you, like they have been for Wolves of late, this can often lead to tempers boiling over and the players' frustrations being taken out on the opposition.

If Wolves had been given a +1 start on the card handicap in their last four games, that bet would have landed in three of those contests and that is the betting route that could pay off again on Saturday.
