After a bright start, Wolves have somewhat lost their way in the Championship promotion race.
They are still in touch with the leading pack but Saturday's 1-0 defeat at top-two rivals Middlesbrough means it is now only two wins in five for Cesar Peixoto's men.
Although that is not a woeful record, a talented Wolves squad are playing below their best. The good news is that they return to their Molineux fortress for their next match, Tuesday's visit of struggling Bolton Wanderers.
Bolton sit 17th and just three points clear of the relegation zone ahead of this clash.
While they can count themselves unlucky not to have more wins on the board, poor finishing may cost them again in the Black Country.

Best Bet - Wolves to win to nil @ 6/4
Wolves will be disheartened following Saturday's loss on Teesside but a strong home record suggests they should bounce back with minimal fuss when Bolton come to town.
Peixoto's side are unbeaten at Molineux this term, beating Port Vale and West Brom to nil, either side of a 2-2 draw with Blackburn, and a 4-1 hammering of Stoke.
That is strong form and having conceded only two goals in their last four games, Wolves are a good bet to keep a clean sheet while brushing aside Steven Schumacher's visitors.
Bolton needed 3.13 xG to find the net in a 2-1 defeat to 10-man Stoke on Saturday, and they are unlikely to create anywhere near as many chances against a stern Wolves defence featuring Ladislav Krejci and Nasser Djiga, who are two players that are far too good for this level.
Alternative Bet - Fer Lopez first goalscorer @ 11/2
Fer Lopez started on the bench at the Riverside after picking up a knock on international duty.
The Spaniard has been arguably the Championship's best player this season and a fired-up Lopez is a nice price to prove that from the off on Tuesday.
With Raul Jimenez sidelined, Lopez is by far Wanderers' biggest threat, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him open the scoring, having already done so on three occasions this term.
Fer Lopez to score or assist
Thierry Gale to be booked
Sam Dalby 1+ shots
Pays 6/1
Lopez not only carries a goal threat, but he is a creative maestro too. The Spaniard averages a goal or assist every 102 minutes, and he could easily add to either tally against a Bolton side that has conceded 15 times in six games.
Expect a dominant performance from Wolves in their bid to bounce back, so Bolton's attackers will have to help out on the defensive end.
Left-winger Thierry Gale will be kept busy by Kieran Trippier or Jackson Tchatchoua's overlaps and a third yellow card of the campaign could be on the agenda.
Bolton should not be pegged back for the entirety of the 90 minutes, though, and Schumacher has got his side playing some nice stuff when they do attack, so take talented forward Sam Dalby to add to the five shots he fired off against Stoke.
