Thomas Tuchel will announce his first England squad as manager of the Three Lions for the World Cup qualifiers against Lativa and Albania on Friday 14th March 2025.
It has now been almost five months since the ex-Chelsea boss was installed as Gareth Southgate's replacement as England manager, with his first two matches in charge seeing Latvia and Albania visit London in a Wembley double-header in March.
Attention will now turn to which players Tuchel will trust with guiding England to next summer's World Cup finals which will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
As ever is the case for an England manager, Tuchel will have a plethora of dilemmas to ponder over as he prepares to name his first international squad.
Three players who will definitely not be available for selection are Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, Newcastle's Lewis Hall and Chelsea's Noni Madueke, with all three players currently sidelined for their clubs due to injury.
Should Tuchel opt for youth in his first England squad, the likes of impressive Arsenal duo Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri could receive their maiden international call-ups, while 22-year-old Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap has also been turning heads with his performances in the Premier League this term.
Then there is the case of Ben White, with reports suggesting Tuchel has held talks with the Arsenal defender about returning to the England fold having previously made himself unavailable for international selection.
It has been confirmed that Thomas Tuchel will announce his first England squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia on Friday 14th March 2025, with a press conference to follow at Wembley.
The exact timings of the announcement and press conference are yet to be confirmed by the Football Association.
