West Ham United v Leicester City: Prediction, Tips and Odds

West Ham should be able to follow up their impressive win at Arsenal with another over struggling Leicester City in the Premier League on Thursday.

The Hammers dented Arsenal's title hopes with a 1-0 success at the Emirates and they can further increase the Foxes' relegation woes with victory at the London Stadium.

West Ham United v Leicester City betting tips and predictions

West Ham to win to nil - 2/1

West Ham were surprise winners at the Emirates but it was a much-needed victory for Graham Potter following a run of three defeats and one draw leading up to Saturday's clash.

They are now 13 points clear of the bottom three and will be aiming to finish what has been a difficult campaign strongly as the new boss continues to try and make a positive impact at the London Stadium.

Since taking over in early January, the former Brighton and Chelsea boss has only picked up two victories but he should be celebrating a third on Thursday against a poor Leicester side.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has had a very tough time since he was appointed Foxes boss and his side are in a desperate battle to avoid going down this season as they are now five points from safety.

Last Friday's 4-0 home defeat to Brentford was Leicester's latest dismal showing - their third league defeat on the spin in which they have failed to score - and it could be a familiar story for the visitors on Thursday.

The Foxes have registered just 25 goals in 26 league games this season, while their defensive record is dire with only rock-bottom Southampton conceding more than their tally of 59 goals.

The Hammers have not exactly been free-flowing going forward themselves recently but they have at least scored in five of the seven games Potter has been in charge of and they should have too much for a miserably-out-of-form Leicester at home.

Jarrod Bowen to score anytime - 7/4

Jarrod Bowen is the Hammers' top-scorer this season with seven goals and he will be keen to add to his tally against one of the poorest teams in the division.

Bowen netted the winner at the weekend and also scored in the 2-1 defeat at Chelsea earlier this month so he should be a major goal threat on Thursday.

The England international has been working well alongside Mohammed Kudus in recent matches, while he should continue to get good service from the likes of Tomas Soucek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who provided the assist for his goal against the Gunners from out wide on the right.

Wilfred Ndidi to be booked - 3/1

The visitors' midfield will have to operate at a much higher level if Leicester are to get out of relegation trouble in the remainder of the season.

The Foxes have been easily overrun in the middle of the park in recent games with Wilfred Ndidi unable to have much influence on proceedings in defeats against Arsenal and Brentford, and unfortunately for the Foxes it could be a similar story at the London Stadium.

Ndidi, who has been booked four times this season, will have his work cut out trying to compete with Soucek and James Ward-Prowse centrally and another yellow card could be heading his way.

The Nigeria international has given away the most fouls (28) in the Foxes squad this season so appeals at 3/1 to be cautioned on Thursday.
