West Ham United v Leeds United Prediction: 6/4 Hammers to hit card trouble

West Ham versus Leeds United on the final day of the Premier League season always offered a sense that there would be a relegation issue on the line, though perhaps not this way round.

Daniel Farke's Whites were a short price for the drop at the start of the season, but they could finish as high as 12th with the Hammers the side facing a drop down to the Championship.

Nuno Santo's Irons have to win and hope Spurs lose at home to Everton, or they will be relegated from the Premier League for the first time since 2010/11.

West Ham v Leeds United Tips Summary

Best Bet - Leeds to win either half @ 5/4
Alternative Bet - West Ham over 2.5 cards @ 6/4
Bet Builder - Under 5 Leeds corners, Jarrod Bowen 1+ shots on target, Dominic Calvert-Lewin 1+ shots on target & Draw or Leeds - Double Chance @ 5/1

West Ham v Leeds United

West Ham v Leeds United Prediction

Best Bet: Leeds to win either half @ 5/4

West Ham are 3/4 to beat Leeds at the London Stadium, a price that reflects the gravity of their situation rather than the formbook.

The Hammers need to win, Leeds do not, but there is no doubt that the Yorkshire visitors should enjoy this free hit at the end of a season that has panned out beautifully courtesy of a last-gasp eight-match unbeaten streak.

Safe for another secure they can trouble their anxious hosts and are a big price to win it, but preferred at 5/4 to win either half, something they have done in four of their last six.

Alternative Bet: West Ham over 2.5 cards @ 6/4

There is too much on the line for West Ham for them not to go down with a fight, meaning referee Anthony Taylor could well be a busy man.

The Irons have had three players carded in each of their last four games and the last time Taylor officiated one of their games - January's 3-2 loss at Chelsea - he showed six cards, three to each side.

Back over 2.5 West Ham cards at 6/4.

West Ham v Leeds United Bet Builder Tip

  • Under 5 Leeds corners

  • Jarrod Bowen 1+ shots on target

  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin 1+ shots on target

  • Draw or Leeds - Double Chance

    Pays 5/1

Leeds are in a fabulous position where they can really enjoy themselves and Farke would love to sign off a successful season on a high.

However, they have no reason to take chances or do anything different than they have been doing and that means not winning many corners.

Interestingly, the Whites have not won five or more corners in an away game in the league in 2026, so there is no reason to presume they will buck that trend here.

Jarrod Bowen, the Hammers' undoubted star man, will be the home side's main threat over the 90 minutes and can fire off at least one shot on target for the fourth game in a row.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin can do likewise for Leeds as he shows Thomas Tuchel it was a mistake to leave him out of England's World Cup squad.

Leeds are the absolute draw kings at the moment - 11 of their last 15 away games have ended in stalemates - so complete the bet builder with the Draw or Leeds Double Chance.
