West Ham United have a solid home record against Chelsea and they are hoping for another positive result when they welcome the Blues to the London Stadium on Saturday.

Chelsea kept their first clean sheet in 18 away Premier League matches in last weekend's 1-0 victory at Bournemouth but another shutout looks unlikely when they travel to West Ham United.

Christopher Nkunku's 86th-minute goal gave the Blues three points on the south coast although they were grateful for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez's first-half penalty save from Evanilson.

Sanchez can expect a busy afternoon at the London Stadium, where West Ham's attacking talents include England forward Jarrod Bowen, Brazil international Lucas Paqueta and classy wingers Mohammed Kudus and Crysencio Summerville.

Germany striker Niclas Fullkrug is hoping to be passed fit for the hosts and both London clubs look stronger in attack than defence.

The Hammers have conceded 24 goals in their last 10 Premier League matches, including a 5-0 rout by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge late last season.

But they have a fine home record against the Blues, winning three of the last five meetings in east London by 3-1, 3-2 and 3-2 scorelines.

Before the 1-0 win at Bournemouth, who racked up seven shots on target and hit the woodwork, Chelsea's previous away fixture was a 6-2 victory at Wolves.

Nine of their last 12 road trips in the league have produced over 3.5 goals and they also conceded twice in the away leg of their UEFA Conference League playoff against Swiss side Servette.    

Mohammed Kudus anytime goalscorer - 3/1

Chelsea players dominate the goalscorer betting with Nkunku, Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson rated the biggest threats to the West Ham defence.

However, the Hammers also have a host of potential scorers in their ranks and Ghana winger Kudus looks a decent price to find the net at any time.

He is yet to score in this season's Premier League but had two shots against Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Fulham and three efforts at goal in the 3-1 home defeat to champions Manchester City.

Kudus had a terrific first season in England, scoring eight goals in 27 league starts and five in nine UEFA Europa League appearances.

He averaged a goal every 163 minutes in his final Eredivisie season with Ajax in 2022/23 and signed off his maiden Premier League campaign by scoring a brilliant bicycle kick against City at the Etihad Stadium.

Guido Rodriguez to be booked - 21/10

West Ham's fixtures with Chelsea are always fiercely contested and the visitors should steel themselves for a bruising midfield battle with Edson Alvarez and Guido Rodriguez in the engine room.

Alvarez's tough-tackling approach earned him 11 bookings in 28 league starts for West Ham last season and summer signing Rodriguez is another leading card candidate.

The Argentina international, who could be up against compatriot Enzo Fernandez, received 36 yellow cards and one red in 129 La Liga starts for Real Betis and was cautioned three times in just 391 minutes of UEFA Europa League action last term.

Rodriguez has been booked in his last two Premier League outings, at home to Manchester City and away at Fulham, and he should be in the thick of the action against Chelsea.
