Leicester City will get a welcomed break from the struggles of the Premier League when they travel to the Poundland Bescot Stadium to face Walsall in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Walsall beat Exeter City in the opening round on penalties before beating League One outfit Huddersfield Town 3-2 last month to advance to round three.
As a Premier League side, Leicester have only had to play once in the competition so far, and they beat Tranmere Rovers 4-0 in August on home soil.
Leicester to win and both teams to score - 2/1
Leicester's 4-0 win over Tranmere is their only success so far this season as they adjust to life in the Premier League.
The Foxes turned to Steve Cooper in the summer after Enzo Maresca's departure and he knows how tough it can be to manage in the top flight.
Leicester are 15th in the table after collecting three points from five matches, but they have at least been competitive.
Cooper's men have scored in every game they have competed in this season, suggesting there is some potential within their ranks.
They come into Tuesday's game on the back of successive draws to Crystal Palace and Everton, but they should be able to return to winning ways in midweek.
Walsall have made a cracking start to their League Two campaign and have collected 15 points from seven games. They have won three on the spin in all competitions, but even Leicester's second string should prove too much for the Saddlers.
Mat Sadler's team are unbeaten at home this season, so they will fancy their chances of finding the net against a Leicester side that have kept one clean sheet all season.
However, they will struggle to deal with Leicester's quality over 90 minutes, and the Foxes have already proven that they can beat lower-league opposition this season.
Odsonne Edouard to score anytime - 7/5
The EFL Cup gives Cooper the chance to get some confidence into his players and that winning feeling is something his team will be craving after the first few weeks of the campaign.
Cooper decided to rotate in the previous round against Tranmere and a similar approach will be used this week. Striker Jamie Vardy is likely to drop out of the squad, meaning Edouard and Jordan Ayew are set to start in the final third.
Edouard has only featured once for Leicester since he joined from Crystal Palace and he will relish 90 minutes of action.
The Frenchman is a classy operator when fit, and he should be able to prove that against League Two opposition.
Under 11 corners - 8/15
Walsall and Leicester should be able to entertain the fans in attendance on Tuesday, but both teams are not known for winning corners in the first few weeks of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Saddlers have won an average of 5.71 corners per game, while they have only conceded 3.14 corners per match in their opening seven matches.
Games involving Walsall have averaged 8.86 corners per 90 minutes, but they should win fewer against Leicester.
The Foxes should be expected to dominate possession and, therefore, win more corners, but they have only won 16 corners in the Premier League from their five matches, the lowest return in the division.
While Leicester should come out on top, the stats from both teams to suggest that backing unders on the corners line could pay dividends.
Walsall - 13/2
Draw - 7/2
Leicester - 2/5
