The January transfer window provides an opportunity for clubs to fill holes in their squad and make upgrades in key areas ahead of the second half of the campaign.

The January transfer window during the 2024/25 season in the UK will open at 00:00 GMT on Wednesday 1st January 2025.

January transfer window 2024/25 closing date

The 2025 January transfer window in the UK will close at 23:00 GMT on Monday 3rd February 2025.

If clubs are struggling to meet this deadline whilst negotiating deals during transfer deadline day, they can submit a deal sheet to the relevant authorities which grants them additional time to finalise the signing.
