Tottenham v Wolves: Tips, Predictions and Odds

Tottenham could be catching Wolves at the start of a wobble as they aim to stabilise their top-four tilt with a home win over Gary O'Neil's men on Saturday afternoon.

Spurs moved ahead of Aston Villa in the race to secure a Champions League berth when they came from behind to beat Brighton last Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Old Gold lacked their usual lustre in a 2-0 home defeat to Brentford and could be without two key forwards for this trip to North London.

Tottenham v Wolves tips and predictions

Tottenham & Both Teams to Score @ 13/8

Wolves suffered a double blow last Saturday with Hee-Chan Hwang ruled out of their Molineux matchup with the Bees before kick-off and Matheus Cunha coming off with a hamstring injury during the defeat that ultimately cost them a spot in the top half of the Premier League table.

O'Neil later revealed that Hwang was pulled out of the squad before kick-off due to some muscle fatigue and that the South Korean, who scored 10 goals in 20 Premier League games before departing for the Asian Cup in January, could be in contention to face Spurs.

It remains to be seen if the Wolves boss will risk putting the ex-RB Leipzig forward in from the start to replace Cunha, who scored a hat-trick against Chelsea earlier this month to take his tally for the season to 11 in all competitions.

Wolves will still carry a goal threat without the duo because Pedro Neto continues to bamboozle defenders, and they remain a threat from set pieces with Craig Dawson unlucky to see his glancing header from the Portuguese star's free-kick ruled out against Brentford last weekend for a marginal offside.

Spurs will also be wary of the threat Mario Lemina carries when he enters the box after his 97th-minute winner at Molineux in November, the second of two stoppage-time goals they scored that afternoon.

But there is something about Tottenham right now that makes them hard to oppose. Last weekend, they won their fifth consecutive home league game — all of which saw both teams score — despite falling behind early on and with several key players not at their best.

Ange Postecoglou has almost a fully-fit squad to choose from with the return of talismanic skipper Heung-Min Son from the Asian Cup already paying dividends after his assist for Brennan Johnson's winner against the Seagulls.

The Lilywhites leave the back door open, but relentlessly attempt to knock the front door off its hinges and that approach should see them prevail — with goals at both ends again — in Saturday's clash.

Heung-Min Son any time scorer @ 21/20

The Spurs captain should be restored to the starting line-up this weekend and he appears ready to pick up where he left off before the Asian Cup.

He was second only to Erling Haaland in the Premier League scoring stakes when he jetted off to Qatar with 12 goals in 20 games.

Son has scored eight goals in his 11 starts alongside James Maddison so far and the Englishman will surely be looking to spring the pacy South Korean into the space behind Wolves' defence whenever he can.

Pedro Porro Over 0.5 assists @ 3/1

Full-back Pedro Porro has one more assist to his name than Maddison this season and could be just as much of a threat to Wolves with his boundless energy and quality of final ball.

The Spaniard set up Johnson's goal in Spurs' defeat at Molineux earlier this season and has contributed five more assists in just a dozen Premier League appearances since.

His runs should have an impact against a Wolves defence that has kept only three away clean sheets in the league since the start of last season.

Pedro Neto Over 1.5 shots on target @ 10/3

Neto's importance to this Wolves team goes up a notch in Cunha's absence and the Portuguese is likely to be the one to lead the majority of counter attacks O'Neil's side looks to spring on Spurs.

The ex-Braga and Lazio winger has registered just 11 shots on target so far this season, but five of those have come in his last three appearances.

Neto has worked the goalkeeper on multiple occasions in each of his last two starts and should keep Spurs number one Guglielmo Vicario busy on Saturday.
